Eligibility : Entry Requirements:
Candidates who have already achieved the City and Guilds Certificate in the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2001) (2381) or recognised equivalent. See attached City & Guilds Information Sheet. Proof of previous qualifications must be provided
This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians and other allied professions e.g electrical engineers, contracts managers, designers, consultants, surveyors and other related trades with a good working knowledge of BS7671 and who have already achieved the City and Guilds Certificate in the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2001) (2381) or recognised equivalent. .
 
Outcome : Qualification Obtained:
Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (16 to 17th edition update BS7671 June 2008)
It is intended to ensure that they are conversant with the format, content and the application of the current edition of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (17th edition). It should be noted that limited instruction will be provided on existing requirements and electrical science
