History
We created Trainagain, after years spent working with LSCs, delivering skills
brokerage contracts for the hospitality, tourism, culture and heritage sectors.
It was clear, from listening to clients from every sector that training needs
were not quite being met, that the supply and demand system of training could be
bettered, benefiting everyone on both sides of this system.
The supply and demand for business training has long been a conundrum,
especially for the further education sector. Colleges have the infrastructure
and expertise to provide a fantastic service for businesses but often find it
difficult to get their message out to industry. Equally, companies across the
region find it hard to track down the right course, at the right price in the
right location. Trawling through training websites takes time and it's often
difficult to find what you're looking for.
Solution
Trainagain has developed a web based infrastructure to make a real difference to
the way short courses are found, booked and advertised. Our clients told us that
other similar websites had often offered either too little information, or too
much information of too general a nature. We work on the principle of keeping it
simple whilst comprehensive and inclusive.

- In a new service, Employer Requests, we do the searching for you, taking your
description of what you want and translating this into the perfect training
course solution. And if we can't match your criteria exactly, we will design a
new course for you with our training providers that does match, for free.
Results
Trainagain has received well over 1 million hits to date. Thousands of people
visit the site every month, finding courses that meet their needs.
